Imani Collective is a Non- Profit Organization  that is focused on breaking the generational cycle of poverty in Kenya’s coastal region. Founded by Jenny Nuccio, Imani empowers women by providing jobs, food, childcare, education, medical aid, and many more resources.

The Imani team have been able to master a craft and have a better way to provide for their families. It started with 16 women who were motivated to provide a better life for themselves and their families.  Now they have over 60 men and women who work in a multiple villages in Kenya. Imani has sold some of their products at Magnolia Market and are preparing for the next stage of growth. 

As a non-profit member of the Innovation Underground, Advent GX supports its mission to selflessly serve others by offering strategic vision and community outreach opportunities. Advent GX also included Imani Collective this year in our hosted event Town & Gown where many wonderful nonprofit organizations were celebrated and honored. We are excited to see how much social change Imani Collective can make and continue to offer them assistance to achieve their mission.
